Barnet Seniors’ Assembly and Barnet Council invite senior residents, family and friends to a fantastic FREE event on Silver Sunday 4th October 2015. The programme, still being developed, promises to include great entertainment, opportunities to find out how to get the most out of living in Barnet and a chance to get a taste of some of the activities available in the borough.

Come along to Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, NW4 4AX from 12.30 – 4.30. This is a drop in event. A delicious afternoon tea will be provided free. To help with catering it would be useful to know if you are coming just email bsabarnet@outlook.com or call 0203 778 0151.

Silver Sunday is a national celebration of older people’s achievements. It is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK led by The Sir Simon Milton Foundation. The aim is to celebrate the value and knowledge older people contribute to our communities, while combating loneliness and isolation.

There are also other activities in Barnet primarily aimed at people aged 55+ throughout the week starting Monday 28 September 2015.
